Before we tell you what it is, it’s worth pointing out what CoolSculpting doesn’t do. If you’re looking for a quick-fix weight loss procedure, CoolSculpting isn’t for you. Here at Cambridge Clear Beauty, we feel that the ideal CoolSculpting candidate ticks all the following boxes:

  • Is within 20-30 pounds of their ideal body weight
  • Is on a healthy diet
  • Is on a regular exercise regime

Why is this?

Because CoolSculpting is designed to help people with moderately healthy lifestyles who have areas of their body where the fat won’t shift no matter what they do: the upper abdomen areas better known as ‘love handles’ or ‘muffin tops’, for example.

CoolSculpting doesn’t suck out the fat, like liposuction: it simply destroys fat cells, and allows your body to naturally metabolise them.

It’s a precision instrument, not a Band-Aid

As the name implies, this ideal CoolSculpting candidate procedure is designed to ‘sculpt’ areas of your body that regular activity can’t touch, and is not suitable for people indulging in an unhealthy lifestyle. For starters, if you’re piling on the calories after a CoolSculpting treatment, the fat you’re trying to get rid of will simply join the queue with the new fat cells you’re taken on board.

Furthermore, due to the nature of the treatment (the CoolSculpting equipment uses suction to pull on the treated area and position it between two cooling plate), it isn’t suitable for the excessively obese. If you can pinch more than a couple of inches in the area you want to treat, it’s going to be very difficult to get that area treated properly.

So, in short, if you’re thinking of using CoolSculpting in order to lose weight and keep it off, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. If you’ve embarked on a healthy, exercise-back regime and are looking for a little help in knocking off some rough (or wobbly) edges, look no further than CoolSculpting.

i had my breast reduction surgery last year and just had my last appointment today! Dr ahmad has been amazing since the very start. he makes you feel listened to, he’s very trusting and makes you feel safe. i was scared going into this procedure because id wanted it for so long and i didn’t know what the outcome would be like but he has made me able to connect with myself again and im so much more happy and confident. his team that work along side him and with you throughout the process are all just amazing people and i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thankyou very much to all of you for what you have done for me ❤️

I had a mole removal done and the process was AMAZING. You cannot see a scar, or any sign of anything done - it healed really well, and was done really professionally.
