For the best results, a series of treatments will see the best results. Although, the exact number of treatments can vary between 3-6, depending on your specific needs and aesthetic goals. For acne treatments, you’ll require 4 sessions, and dermal lifting requires 3 treatments.
Morpheus8 induces a permanent improvement in skin laxity and subdermal fat remodeling however, the effects of age continue. At a minimum, we lose 1% of our collagen every year, and more can be lost if we do not invest in medical-grade skincare, sunscreen, or preventive treatments.
Patients are encouraged to continue using Morpheus8 one yearly treatment to keep the loss of collagen away.
For the first 24 hours, you should keep your skin protected and adhere to your clinician’s instructions. You should be able to go about your normal activities anytime after that, where you should apply mineral makeup, such as our Osmosis Beauty Mineral Makeup Line.
Some redness and swelling can appear after a few hours of your treatment, which may also persist for up to 1-2 days.
Morpheus8’s versatility can treat a wide variety of skin concerns, such as skin laxity on both the face and body, acne, and stubborn fat pockets.
With skin laxity and skin texture, you will notice immediate improvements in the tightening over the first 5 days, followed by the gradual improvement that becomes more visible after 3 months, and with further improvement over a 6-month period.
For acne, you’ll need 4 necessary treatments, noticing the results after the first two treatments. However, the most apparent improvements will occur over a six-month period. For excessive sweating, both treatments involve changing the function of either the sebaceous glands or sweat glands.
