- I’m so happy with my experience and results. Not only has my breathing improved significantly, but aesthetically my nose looks so natural that no one would ever guess I’ve had anything done—which was really important to me. My face looks more balanced, softer, and overall more youthful. My surgeon has a real artistic eye, and that made all the difference. - Mr Ahmad was so calm, non-judgemental and didn’t make me feel rushed to make any decisions. He ensured I had a full picture of the procedure and all the information I needed to make an informed decision. - Amazing care received at Cambridge Clear Beauty. I had developed Keloid scarring from piercings on my ears that really knocked my confidence. I had previously been told from the NHS that it was self inflicted so I would be on a long waiting list. I came to Cambridge Clear Beauty and Mr Ahmad, Nikki and the team were so caring and wanted to help me straight away. The team reassured me when I was nervous and Jo held my hand the whole way through my surgery. The surgery I had was more complicated then planned because of the amount of Keloid scarring but Mr Ahmad was still able to create an amazing outcome and has brought my confidence back. I am very happy with the results and my ears have healed better then I ever thought they would. The care I have received before and after my surgery has been fantastic. - I recently underwent a minor medical procedure with Mr. Ahmad, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. I was seen very quickly, and Mr. Ahmad provided detailed information that put me at ease. He was friendly and very sympathetic throughout the process. - I nursed both my babies for around 2 years each. While nursing I was a dd. My breasts deflated to the point where I could see my rib cage and pectoral muscles on top. The bottom portion of my breast was so saggy that they folded in on themselves. I looked like a zombie! My bottom half is very curvaceous. I workout a lot and have big hips, a big butt, and a lot of muscle. This didn't match my undead looking breasts. I wanted enough implant to bring life to my top. The surgery went really well. He put in 320 cc of anatomical polyurethane dual plane. I did have nausea but I expected that. The pain isn't that bad, it's a lot like having your milk come in but with an elephant on your chest. I get to wear this snazzy tape for a week then I transition to a support bra. I'm also wearing compression stockings and taking daily lovenox to prevent blood clots as I have APS. Overall the worst parts are bloating, nausea, and feeling useless. I can't hold my kids, cook, or clean. I'm just a sleepy blob on the couch. I do worry 320cc is too big. Hopefully it settles a lot! I have to say I'm so happy I kept my nursing chair because sleeping there was relatively easy. I'm very nauseous and constipated so I stopped taking any pain meds other than Tylenol. Frankly throwing up through my tight chest is more painful than having proper pain relievers. My 3 and 5 year old are not happy that I can't pick them up, so I am crushed about that. Otherwise the pain is very easy to cope with. I stopped taking narcotics day two so I could get my stomach on track. Frankly I can manage pain a lot better than nausea. After two natural child births, pain is really in perspective and ba pain isn't really that horrible. My bandages are falling apart so I put a sports bra on to help hold them on until I see the nurse in 2 days. The girls look huge! I wanted a big b to a small c, and the boob pics I sent in were all of small chested women. I'm trying not to judge it now as I know they are super swollen. Honestly they are so big and shiny that I'm renaming them the beacons of Gobdor. I took my kids out for brunch yesterday and some man with his family could not stop starring at me. It was very odd. I'll be a lot happier when the girls aren't so out there. Side note, I'm up 6 lbs of boob and bloating. It feels very unattractive. That plus not being able to wash or style my hair has me looking like Courteney Love. Yaaaaay :/. I'm slightly nervous that my ps put in the wrong size. I said anywhere from 250-300 as long as my saggy girls were perked up. The final size was 320. My waist is 26 and now my chest is 36! They better shrink to a big B/ small C range. I'm not interested in too much attention. The girls look really good. Well, they look like swollen torpedos but I think after they drop and fluff they should be exactly what I asked for. The incision almost made me pass out though. Its so gaping and purple and crusty! The doctor assured me it was normal so I asked her to cover them up again so I wouldn't have to see them too much. They're terrifying! I've started walking my kids to school/ walking the dog. I typically walk 6-8 miles a day doing this. Its such a big part of how my family functions that I couldn't put it on hold that much longer. It hurts for sure as I'm off every pain medication, but my options are pretty limited. I've started sleeping in bed (off the arm chair) again too, which is wonderful as I missed my husband. So pretty much life had returned to normal minus my workout and cleaning routine. One small annoyance is I still can't cook! I can't lift mixing bowls or chop things. I'm glad I froze a ton of food to allow recovery time. I would definitely recommend that people freeze a couple week's worth of food. Takeaway definitely wouldn't help the healing process the way a proper, Veggie filled meal does. Biofreeze is saving my back and ribs. Since I'm shying away from pain killers I am very sore. Biofreeze works a charm. I updated my review of the procedure to worth it. My husband looked at me in a way he hasn't for a long time. He's a great man but a terrible liar. I knew he wasn't digging my tube sock breasts. But today he had a big grin when I undressed. That grin was worth it.

- Mr Ahmad was one in a million; he gave honest, clear advice about my problem and his recommended solution. He made sure that I understood everything and was happy for me to take as long as I wanted to decide on what was right for me. A surgeon of this quality, practising in Cambridge was a huge benefit to me and will be to anyone else who wants to make the best of themselves. I have had eye bags for as long as I can remember, huge great massive ones that no amount of creams or treatment shifted. So I decided to go for it and have them removed. I spent about a year researching and plucking up the courage to have surgery. I chose to see Mr Tariq Ahmad in Cambridge, he was recommended by a GP and an Oculoplastic Surgeon, you can't get better than that, so I made a consultation appointment. And I was so pleased I did. He agreed that I did have eye bags and that he could improve them - a nice way of saying that he agreed with me and I did have big ones! This is what Mr Ahmad said he was going to do - " full lower eyelid blepharoplasty to include a canthopexy to strengthen the lower eyelid, minor redundant muscle and appropriate skin trim, an arcus marginalis release and fat pad transposition to mobilise the fat pads causing the 'eyelid bags'. I will also hitch the lateral retinaculum and orbicularis muscle to support the lower eyelid and perhaps undertake a limited SOOF lift to further support the eyelid but also provide an element of cheek lift." Phew, an awful lot. I wanted to feel impressed but I rather thought that my eye bags were perhaps worse than I thought. Good job I had already made the decision to have this operation. We agreed a surgery date of 31st August 2016 and this is my story... OPERATION DAY - Feeling apprehensive and nervous, I arrived at the hospital, ready to get this over with. I just couldn't wait. Bravely, I took a 'before' photo in the bathroom of my hospital room, just to remind myself of why I was doing this. I was having a General Anaesthetic so staying in overnight. DAY 1 - Feeling battered and bruised but strangely in no pain. A weird feeling not being able to open my eyes fully. So ready to go home and be in my bed. Need to sleep sitting up for about a week and ice my eyes several times a day. I so want this to work so I'm going to doing everything I am told to do (even if that is sleep sitting up!!!) DAY 3 - Ok, still no pain but so tender and sore around my eyes. The worst bit is the numbness down my right side of my face. The absolute BEST bit is that I can already see that my eye bags have gone - goodbye bags, I won't miss you! DAY 5 - Bruising going down well. Quite a dry left eye and now using 'artificial tears' eye drops to soothe it. Still using an ice mask several times a day as this is very relieving. Not being to open my eyes fully is now VERY irritating and I can't wait until I get my stitches out tomorrow. DAY 6 - Halleluiah, hooray, stitches are out - completely painless and took just a few minutes. Blink blink, my eyes work better now. I'm off home for a good look in the mirror. Still got a dry eye which is tiresome. The numbness is still there, should I be worried about that? DAY 9 - I can really see what Mr Ahmad has done now. NO eye bags left and my face looks like it has had a mini face lift. Hello cheekbones, not seen you for a few years. Stood in front of the mirror and had a few tears. God, I love Mr Ahmad.... DAY 14 - Went for my follow-up appointment today. It went well and Mr Ahmad was pleased with progress so far. He explained exactly what he did, more importantly said the numbness was normal but would last a couple of months (max). My eyes are blinking at different speeds, the left one slower and doesn't close completely - which probably explains why it feels so dry. Just a matter of time before it sorts itself out - can it please hurry up! I have my next follow up appointment in 4 weeks time and I will update this progress review then, but this is what I learnt so far:- 1. I hate sleeping upright 2. I didn't expect the numbness, I think this will make applying make-up tricky until it goes 3. A longer recovery period than initially thought 4. The blinking out of sync is off-putting to people looking at me 5. Amazingly no pain, only had a few paracetamols throughout the whole process so far So..... Would I do it again? YES Would I recommend Mr Ahmad? OH YES Day 20 Things are improving every day. The stitches in the corners of my eyes are still there and a bit tight so looking forward to them dropping out. I'm so please Mr Ahmad told me honestly about how long it takes for fully recovery, I saw on here where people had been told 2-3 weeks recovery; if I had believed that then I would be panicking now (like some people are). My goal is to see how I look at my 6 week review. Day 23 The dissolvable stitches in my right eye all fell out today but still some in left eye. Left eye sore and still needs drops for dry eye, hoping this will improve when stitches go. Right eye very comfortable. Numbness improving, now localised to right side of nose and under both eyes. Day 26 All going well. Still a couple of stitches left to dissolve (the white bits at the corner of my eye in the photo). I have a little "blink lag" in left eye and swelling/tenderness under both eyes. I'm happy so far and will update again after my next visit to surgeon which is at 6 weeks post op. 5 weeks puts op - bye bye bags Really really happy. Back at work now, right eye very good, left eye not far behind now. Still a little swollen and numb directly under the lower lashes but other than that, feeling great! 7 weeks post op I just thought I would do a quick update at 7 weeks and show you my before and after pictures. I saw my surgeon, Mr Ahmad, yesterday and he said all was going well but that I would see the full results after 12 weeks. Well I am delighted now so god knows what I will be like in 4 weeks time. It was well worth it and I would do it again. My eye bags were huge, the before picture was actually on a good day too! Mr Ahmad performed a miracle and I can't thank him enough.

- Mr Tariq Ahmad is very informative and has a lot of experience behind him, he really made me feel comfortable. This site has helped me so, so much with research and preparing for surgery so I'd like to put my experience on here with the hope of helping someone else! I am all booked in to have my rhinoplasty operation in less than 2 weeks which is very exciting but also scary as this is my first ever operation!! I'll take you back to the start, I have wanted a nose job ever since I can remember, my nose was the first thing on my face to grow and it grew big!! As I have been 'blessed' with the family nose I was constantly being told I would grow into it, which is true to some extent but no where near as much as I would have liked. I have a very prominent tip and a large hump in the middle. ( I will post pictures later on) So after years of saving I rushed into searching for a surgeon and booked in for a free consulation with a local branch of a national cosmetic surgery company. They cancelled my appointment 3 times until I finally got in to see a surgeon (this should have been a warning sign), I walked into the consultation room, sat down and was asked why I was there (which I thought was pretty obvious) and was left to ask all my own questions, but being a newbie I literally had no idea what to ask or say so after less than 10 minutes of awkward questions I went on my way as I knew that it wasn't for me, if their aftercare was anything like the pre-care I knew I'd be in trouble! I decided to spend a decent amount of time spread over a couple of weeks researching everything and I only looked for private surgeons on the BAAPS website. After much googling I decided to book a consultation with Mr Tariq Ahmad in the Peterborough Fitzwilliam hospital. This consulation couldn't have been more opposite to my previous one! He told me absolutely everything, took photos, had a really good look at my nose and drew diagrams to show me what he'd have to do to achieve my desired look, he even showed me a slideshow of what the surgery will be like! I was totally put at ease and knew straight away I wanted him to be my surgeon. He advised me to go away and think it all through for a month and come up with any questions and arrange a follow up consultation. In the next couple of days I received a letter from him almost 4 pages long with every detail of our chat with him which I was very impressed with! I booked in for a follow up consultation and got the last of my questions answered, he never once made me feel rushed or stupid for asking 'silly' questions (such as 'what if I wake up during surgery'). With my mind made up I called his secretary the next day to book an operation date and now I'm counting down the days until March 30th!!

- I have just been discharged by Mr Ahmad after 2 years and 3 months of care, appointments, complications and procedures. I do not have a perfect result due to infections and complications but overall I'm happy with my results. I'm more confident and happy with my body and have come a long way. I would like to thank the whole team for your attention, care and professionalism. You have always been available to me throughout my journey and made me feel reassured when the going was tough along the way. Despite the problems I have experienced I have had no regrets. - Dr Ahmed, and all his team are excellent. From the very first point of contact, everything regarding treatment is explained in detail, and questions are welcome, and support is available throughout. Spotless and modern surroundings, and the aftercare is wonderful too. Regular face to face checks while necessary, and contact numbers if there is any anxiety in the meantime. I had my final face to face with Dr. Ahmed some 10+ months on, and all is great.

- I had my top eyelids trimmed back and my bottom eyebags removed (Blepharoplasty). I did have extensive bruising that was explained by Mr Ahmad would happen. My top eyelids healed fairly quickly but the bottom eyebags are more difficult. Mr Ahmad and Nikki have always answered my questions and have always seen me regularly or when iv had a worry. Overall, my eyes are healing now, and after 3 months are doing well and looking much better. Mr Ahmad told me it could take up to a year for my healing process to end. As it is an invasive surgery I can understand why, but thankfully its getting there and I'm pleased with how my results are starting to look.

- I had rhinoplasty surgery at the fitzwilliam hospital in July 2023 right from my very first appointment l was welcomed made to feel at ease and given such wonderful care l literally cannot think of one time where I felt uncomfortable. The nurses all gave me the best of care and were all so helpful, the atmosphere is calm friendly. The dr l had was dr Ahmed he listened to everything l had to say and he carefully went through all my options I felt supported all through my journey from beginning to now. My procedure was actually pain free which l had found very surprising as l had prepared my self for a lot of discomfort but l experienced none.

- I first saw Mr Ahmad back in February and then had a second consultation 2 weeks later. We discussed my specific needs and Mr Ahmad said what would be possible to give me the best outcome. I am in my early 60's so I didn't expect miracles but I wanted to look better for my age and more awake. I had my op in June and as it is still August, I am 2 months post op so still in recovery. At my age and my sensitive skin, it has taken a while, and I know I am impatient for my end result, which can take about 6 months but Mr Ahmad has assured me all the way and has seen me when ever i needed questions answered or had a worry and I am beginning to finally see the improvements. Other people have also told me my eyes are looking good. So, I am very pleased so far.

The cosmetic outcome has been excellent and the healing process has been fast and straight-forward. Nikki who tried very hard to get my operation date after having to defer it initially in 2019 then put back because of COVID 19. I was given the 1st March 2021 which I accepted. Although like any operation under general anaesthetic, I was apprehensive, I was put at ease by Mr. Ahmad who reassured me he would look after me. After the operation, which went very well, I have had very good aftercare with follow up appointments. - I had closed rhinoplasty with Mr Ahmad almost two months ago. I am extremely happy with the result. I had wanted to have the nose-job since I was 18 years old. I had always been very conscious about the size of my nose. I started doing some proper research on rhinoplasty and rhinoplasty surgeons in the UK two years ago when I saved up enough money for the surgery. Since rhinoplasty is the most complicated plastic surgery, I wanted to find an expert who specialises in rhinoplasty, 100% qualified and very experienced and has good aesthetics. Then I found Mr Ahmad, who ticks all the boxes. I had two consultations with Mr Ahmad before the procedure. Mr Ahmad was very friendly and listened to all my concerns (i.e. the potential droopiness of the dip of the nose and scars) and my expectations (narrower nose base, slimmer nose tip). He came up with a plan that addressed all these issues. On the day of the procedure, Mr Ahmad came and talked to me again before the surgery to make sure that I fully understand the procedure and checked up on me the next day, which really calmed me down and was very reassuring. I was surprised that I didn’t have any bruises on my face like other people who undergo the same procedure do. More importantly, there are no scars!!! This is all due to Mr Ahmad’s amazing skills. Now It is my 6th-week post-operation. The swellings are all gone. Nobody could tell that I had a nose job, including close friends and family. Some of them commented that I “look good” or “fresh” and others ask if I have lost weight. Mr Ahmad said my nose will keep looking better! I just can’t recommend Mr Ahmad enough. I am not sure if I would have another plastic surgery. However, if I do I would definitely come back to Mr Ahmad as I feel 100% confident that I will in the expert’s hand.

- Firstly, I would like to set the scene as my case is rather unique/complex but by virtue of that, I had consultations with at least 5 different surgeons privately and 4 on the NHS before I came across Mr Ahmad, so I feel well placed to write a review. I was born with a cleft lip and palate and a resulting cleft nose deformity. Growing up I was treated by a cleft-specialist team on the NHS but after 3 cleft-rhinoplasties and despite their best efforts, they were unable to help me further due to the specific nuances of my case. As my surgeon at the time wasn’t wholly satisfied with the outcome, he referred me to several of his colleagues in the NHS for a second opinion and unfortunately they also felt they couldn’t help. This is when my quest for a private surgeon began and sadly, it turned into a much longer search than I anticipated, as I found myself turned away by multiple other renowned specialist rhinoplasty surgeons (most of whom had specialist cleft experience too). When I was ultimately referred to surgeons in Germany and the USA, I regrettably resigned myself to not being able to further restore my nose without travelling abroad, which I wasn’t sure I was prepared to do. This is when I stumbled across Mr Ahmad’s name on the internet and from the initial phone call to his PA Nikki, through to the consultations, on to the surgery itself and aftercare, I have only had an exemplary experience. Consultation Experience: Every single consultation I had with Mr Ahmad was extremely unhurried and he was most generous with his time, giving me all the time I needed. Additionally, I was always reassured that I could email in at any point with questions and indeed, all my questions were very well received and promptly and willingly responded to. Furthermore, after each consultation, Mr Ahmad would send a very detailed letter summarising what was discussed, which again, instilled me with confidence. In my opinion, if he’s prepared to commit the discussion to paper, he’s sincere in what was discussed. Surgery Itself: Once I decided to go ahead with surgery, Mr Ahmad was very kindly able to accommodate my preferred timings. The surgery itself was very smooth and in line with what I had come to expect from Mr Ahmad, he was also most generous with his time during the operation and took all the time needed to help achieve the best possible outcome. Being put under anaesthetic and waking up from the anaesthetic was also extremely smooth and pain-free. In fact, this was by far the smoothest wakeup I have ever had from anaesthetic and was surprised at how alert and normal I felt, so hats off to Mr Ahmad’s anaesthetist too! The following day Mr Ahmad came to check on me on a Saturday, which was a very kind gesture. He also took this opportunity to show me his hand-drawn operation notes. In fact, it’s his hand-drawn operation notes that I stumbled across randomly on social media (on what turned out to be one of his patient’s accounts) that initially caught my eye and drew my attention to Mr Ahmad. I’ve had a lot of surgeries myself and can safely say that none of my other operation notes look anything like Mr Ahmad’s so in my opinion, these clearly show the perfectionist in him!! Aftercare: I’m currently on my aftercare journey and so far it has also been smooth and recovery has been pain-free. In addition to coming to check on me the day after surgery, Mr Ahmad is always on hand to answer questions and concerns and is indeed very responsive, as he has always been. Results: Whilst I’m still very much healing, the initial results look promising with a significant improvement and I look forward to seeing the more definitive results as the swelling settles down. I understand Mr Ahmad enjoys art and sculpture in his spare time and a few days after my cast was removed, my mum unknowingly asked me whether Mr Ahmad was a sculptor, so his artistic skills evidently show through in his results. In summary, my understanding is that cleft rhinoplasties are amongst the most complex type of rhinoplasty operations and by the sounds of it, my case was a particularly challenging cleft case, that many of his colleagues and peers turned away, so the fact that Mr Ahmad was able to deliver what seems like a significant improvement for me, speaks volumes. I live in London and focused my search in London, as I naively assumed the best would practise in London but I couldn’t have been proven more wrong; the short trip to Cambridge is well worth it. There’s no doubt that he’s amongst the very elite in his field, arguably the best rhinoplasty surgeon in the UK in my opinion, and I only wish I had found him sooner. He’s the most consummate professional and the embodiment of your perfect surgeon; extremely gifted, caring and humble. I cannot thank him and his team enough and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend him both from his unparalleled technical ability and his exceptional bedside manner.

- I had closed rhinoplasty with Mr Ahmad almost two months ago. I am extremely happy with the result. I had wanted to have the nose-job since I was 18 years old. I had always been very conscious about the size of my nose. I started doing some proper research on rhinoplasty and rhinoplasty surgeons in the UK two years ago when I saved up enough money for the surgery. Since rhinoplasty is the most complicated plastic surgery, I wanted to find an expert who specialises in rhinoplasty, 100% qualified and very experienced and has good aesthetics. Then I found Mr Ahmad, who ticks all the boxes. I had two consultations with Mr Ahmad before the procedure. Mr Ahmad was very friendly and listened to all my concerns (i.e. the potential droopiness of the dip of the nose and scars) and my expectations (narrower nose base, slimmer nose tip). He came up with a plan that addressed all these issues. On the day of the procedure, Mr Ahmad came and talked to me again before the surgery to make sure that I fully understand the procedure and checked up on me the next day, which really calmed me down and was very reassuring. I was surprised that I didn’t have any bruises on my face like other people who undergo the same procedure do. More importantly, there are no scars!!! This is all due to Mr Ahmad’s amazing skills. Now It is my 6th-week post-operation. The swellings are all gone. Nobody could tell that I had a nose job, including close friends and family. Some of them commented that I “look good” or “fresh” and others ask if I have lost weight. Mr Ahmad said my nose will keep looking better! I just can’t recommend Mr Ahmad enough. I am not sure if I would have another plastic surgery. However, if I do I would definitely come back to Mr Ahmad as I feel 100% confident that I will in the expert’s hand.

- I had an initial surgical consultation with Mr Ahmad on 3 February 2021. This was over Microsoft Teams due to the Covid-19 lockdown measures. Timekeeping and organisation of the appointment link were excellent and I had submitted pictures to Mr Ahmad's PA prior. To start off, Mr Ahmad took down some admin and then wanted to gain a picture of me and the issue I hope to rectify. He moved onto his background and described his wealth of experience, which was very reassuring. Next, we went through each of the three surgical options Mr Ahmad would be able to perform. He gave a clear outline of each, discussing the pros and cons thoroughly. I felt this was objective and offered a really fair and transparent comparison between the different options. There was plenty of room for me to ask questions during the final 15 minutes of our hour-long appointment and I came off the call feeling very pleased with the professionalism and knowledge Mr Ahmad had throughout. I await a quote for the surgery, but I am safe in the knowledge that the initial consultation fee allows for two further follow-up appointments prior to any operation (can be under local Anaesthetic in Mr Ahmad’s clinic or general Anaesthetic in hospital for my issue).

- “I started the Obagi [Nu-Derm] System about 2 weeks ago to improve melasma on my face after my dermatologist recommended that I try it. “WOW! In only 2 weeks, most of my melasma has improved and the really tough spots I've had for years are noticeably faded!* I am so delighted with your product! Even the redness and peeling (which I was warned ahead of time would happen) were very manageable. “Some women in my office approached me the other day to ask what I was doing to my skin because it looked so smooth and radiant. I was floored! Again, thank you.”

Everything was explained beforehand and in the beginning I was very nervous it would hurt, but I was pleasantly surprised as the procedure itself did not hurt at all. I was a little sore afterwards for a day or two, but I was told I would be a little sore afterwards. I wore a compression garment for up to a week during the day, and at least 2 weeks at night. I am very happy with the result although it is still improving daily as I write this review. It will improve for up to 6 months after the first day. Friends have commented on how I look different but they are not sure what it is. There are no cuts and I had minimal bruising which went very quickly. Just be prepared when you wake the next morning, I was a little swollen and it is a bit of a shock at first.

I came to him with concerns in 2015 about how unhappy my nose made me Physically and mentally and from the first appointment he said he could help me and he completely did.
