During a breast lift procedure, Mr. Ahmad aims to make as small an incision as is needed to limit the amount of scarring.

The incision extends around the nipple and then down from the base of the nipple to the natural fold under the breast. This is called a ‘lollipop’ scar. For some patients, it is necessary to make a very small incision along the crease as well. Mr. Ahmad finds this technique offers patients the most natural and aesthetically attractive shape to the breast.

Any excess skin and tissue is removed, the nipple is moved higher and the breast is lifted and reshaped into its new contour.

An implant may also be inserted at this stage if necessary, which will add volume. Before embarking on a breast lift procedure, Mr Ahmad will explain in full what will happen and what scarring you can expect after surgery.

A breast lift procedure is performed under general Anaesthetic and will usually require an overnight stay in hospital.
