Cosmetic ear reshaping, also known as an otoplasty or pinnaplasty procedure, is a surgical procedure that aims to correct any irregularities in ear shape or size. The most common procedure is where overly prominent ears are pinned back and this is often performed on children as young as five. Correcting the problem at an earlier age means the child won’t suffer from any of the distress and embarrassment this problem can cause.
